Makeover Time!

Part of the Provenance Inns & Hotels Group, The West Park benefits from having the best of both worlds; a unique boutique offer backed by a Group culture that enables it to access the necessary investment to keep it at the top of its game. As a result, this summer’s makeover has been exceptional! Even before you enter the building the changes are apparent with modern, brighter canopies over the exterior seating, freshening up that initial welcome.  Even the external window frames and woodwork have had something of a facelift from black to increasingly sought-after grey.

Stepping inside to the refurbished bar and restaurant area, the changes are extensive. All-new parquet floor reflects light, lifting the whole room. The bar area, transformed with a full redecoration and refreshed lighting, blends perfectly with new contemporary furniture creating an attractive yet perfectly socially distanced space. Accented colour across the soft furnishings complete the look. Guests are left in no doubt that they have entered a first-class establishment.

Moving to the rooms, each has received incredible attention to detail, beautifully curated by one talented interior designer.  The aesthetics are just an indication of the level of care that has gone into these luxurious spaces. Comfort is taken to another level with the softest of robes, skin-friendly L’Occitane toiletries and for those who enjoy a drenching shower, each bathroom offers a monsoon shower experience. If over-sized baths are your thing, no problem, they can be enjoyed too. Equipped with Nespresso coffee machines along with complimentary locally sourced Harrogate Water hand-made ginger biscuits, every detail has been covered. Oh, and did we mention that all rooms are air conditioned? Something not many in the surrounding area can boast!

It’s hard not to collapse on the inviting super-king-sized bed and sink into a much-needed solid sleep, but being in the heart of Harrogate itself and opposite the beautiful 200 acre Stray, there’s so much to do and see within walking distance of this incredible hotel.
